~ Shop assistant at a curtain shop for 2 months until I aggravated an old injury so was laid off.

~ Shopping at thrift stores, flea markets, Freecycle, Swap Meets and even at the local dump/tip, with an eye for transforming and re purposing found objects.

~ Researching medieval times. I'm an on again, off again member of the SCA (Society of Creative Anachronism) and paid member of a Viking reenactment group. Banquets, Mead, Fire Dancing, Combat... oh yeah

What I dislike
~ Brand new furniture: there’s just no character in new stuff and the craftsmanship is not like it used to be.
Decorating style
~ This has changed many times from Country to Shabby Chic and Modern Country with a Fench influence. Hopefully my current style is the one. I've become drawn to Old world Tuscan with a touch of upcycled chic, bit of rust, and loads of one off furniture character.
